Yes, I know. I know! At least it's being posted. Haha.

For once, Jeff and I had a day off together. I mean, we have the weekends, but he works until about 1:30 pm on Saturdays and Sunday is family day. During the weekdays, we see each other after work, but that's usually at my house... exhausted... surrounded by a hyper teenager, yelping dog, screaming two-year-old, and variously aged other inhabitants. We don't get much time alone together.

Okay, side note. Everybody knows about our situation and how our time together is really not time alone, so... inevitably, I got asked, "Then, when do you guys get to... y'know... Y'KNOW ...??" lol. Don't worry. You'll remain anonymous, oh blunt one. I'll spare you the response, as well. I really treasure any time alone that we actually get. It's not like, "We're alone! Time to do the horizontal polka (as I like to refer to the very mature act of copulation)!"

This day was more like, "We get to be alone!? What do you wanna do? Should we go out to eat? See a movie? What do you feel like doing??" I can't really describe it. I get very excited at the thought of a whole day together alone.

Okay, back on track. I straightened my hair. That's how excited I was! It takes me roughly 1.5 - 2 hours to straighten my hair, so I rarely do it. Also, it's not healthy to do it often. But I had to, especially since Jeff loves it when my hair is straight. I look very different... or so I've been told. It was worth the time and effort after I saw the huge smile on his face when I stepped out of my car. ^.^

We played Left 4 Dead on his 360 for a while. It took me a lil while to adjust to playing a 1st person shooter, because I'm accustomed to the controls being inverted, but I got it. It's pretty fun.
The concept is essentially:
1) Kill zombies
2) Don't die while killing said zombies

There are missions, of course, and you have a team you're working with. Blah Blah Blah. I loved it, though. Jeff didn't think I'd stick it through a whole episode, but I made it! I survived! -sobbing hysterically-

I'll admit it. I mainly survived because I would have kicked his ass in real life if he had left me behind to die. :P

Next, we took his other girlfriend to Ocean Beach:

I think he loves her more than me :(
Now, I'm not one of those girls dating a guy because of his car. If anything, I don't really enjoy riding in it as much as he does. (I'm sorry, babe, but I really don't.) I can't hold his hand while he's driving because it's stick. I have to yell if I want to have a conversation even when the bass is off. Shoot... even when the radio's off completely, because the engine is so loud! lol Not to mention is sets off every car alarm it passes and attracts the attention of any police within a 5-block radius. Yeesh.

He loves this car, though. He's loved it since it was only a 3rd-grader's dream and to me, it represents his passion. No matter what, he loves it. No matter what people say or think, this is his baby. That's the only reason I like it. And I'm not jealous of her, either! Hmph. At least they're cute together:
I was going for an MTV: Cribs look

It was a great day to go to the beach. Sunny, bright, and warm. Perfect day off weather!
He ran into an old classmate and had him take this picture.

Jeff tried to force a photo shoot on me. Didn't quite work out.Jeff: "Babe, pose!"
Jeff: "Babe!"
Me: "Fine!"

Afterward, we headed downtown to the Cheesecake Factory for dinner. Along the way, we spotted...
A rat... sleeping on a cat... laying on top of a dog.

Yet another side note! Jeff went up to take these pictures and I hung back because there was a small crowd forming. Literally a couple seconds after he left my side, this guy comes up and starts hitting on me. Obviously, he had seen me with my BOYFRIEND because it was seconds after Jeff had walked away. I was in shock and all I could do was give him this dumbfounded look. When Jeff came back, I was holding the guy's business card with his number on it, wondering what the hell just happened.

Me: "That guy just hit on me."
Jeff: "What? I thought he was just selling you stuff."
Me: "He told me to call him, then gave me his number." -holding up card-
Jeff: "WHAT?!" -takes card and throws it in the garbage "Why didn't you tell him I was your boyfriend."
Me: "I thought he knew! He came up RIGHT AFTER you walked away!"
Jeff: "Then, why didn't you call me over?"
Me: "I though you saw it. You were RIGHT THERE... like, three steps away."
Jeff: "I thought he was selling you stuff!"

lol. Oh man. People are getting more and more scandalous.

Onward to Cheesecake Factory!

Waiting for the elevator to take us up the the restaurant.

Since it was a Tuesday, there was no wait and we were seated right away. The menu was huge, though, and it took us a while to finally order.

Mine: Wasabi-crusted raw ahi tuna. FRIGGIN' BOOOMB! I want more!
His: Crispy, spicy beef. He said it was okay, but he wouldn't get it again.
His: Chocolate peanut butter cookie dough cheesecake
(pushed him over the edge and into bloated territory)
My hot fudge sundae. It was okay. I've had better. I got extra fudge, though!

...

And that was our kick-ass day off together.
G'night & value your time with your loved ones!
